Conversations with My Mother

The conversations you’ll find here are ones that my mom and I had over the last few years. Even though we lived thousands of miles away from each other, we still had a very close relationship. We talked every day and sometimes more. Most often we would have a good laugh together, and then from time to time we’d lean on each other to help us through bad times. Mostly my mom and I were two people who just liked each other a lot and loved each other like crazy. She was an irreverent woman full of spark and life. These conversations try to capture her spirit. My mother died of colon cancer on October 9th, 2010. It was the saddest day of my life.
